7.4.1. Local Community Outreach for Energy Efficiency

The University carries out various activities and produces digital content to inform the local community and raise awareness about energy efficiency. Within this scope, social activities have been organized on sustainable energy use and energy conservation, while talks, workshops and awareness-raising activities have been conducted with the participation of students, academics and members of the local community.

The Sustainability Academy within the University serves as an important platform for activities addressing energy efficiency, environmental awareness and social transformation. The Sustainability Short Film Festival, organized within the scope of the Academy, aims to provide a creative perspective on environmental, social and economic sustainability. In addition, the Sustainability Workshop, talks and film screenings for primary and secondary school students contribute to developing awareness of energy and environmental responsibility at an early age.
